Several Wingham Hockey Club members are participating in the Hunter Academy of Sport Hockey Athlete Development Program over the summer months. The program is designed to develop athletes not only in terms of their core skills but including areas such as nutrition, mental strength, fitness and citizenship.



Last weekend the squad of 48 athletes and staff from Hunter Academy attended the Inter-Academy Training Weekend in Tamworth where several academies joined for a weekend of training.

All enjoyed the weekend refining skills and working with players and coaches from other academies.
